Mine came in at 7 lbs even, as opposed to the Colonial at 9 pounds 9 ounces
The Woodsrunner balances perfectly in the forearm as the Colonial is muzzle heavy.
The Woodsrunner is .54 the Colonial .50.
I built a Colonial .54 for someone that DID balance and carry much better.
when I refer to balance, I mean ease of carry in one hand.

You want a .58 if you're doing a colonial. Nobody ever listens to me though.
You are correct, but I got it before you stopped raising chickens. At least I did not crack the stock and file the muzzle to some sort of phallic symbol. I think i deserve some credit.
The Colonial is however a great range gun for me. It is good from the bench and the weight helps me offhand. I could get another barrel but I cannot see the need for a .58 over a .54. I installed a peep sight on it and will experiment with that.
I carried the Colonial for a few hours last year in and out of heavy brush looking for a deer.
