First off Thank You all for your feedback, instructions and help that I surely needed. I know how to engrave but I lack all the other points of putting together a good looking rifle. I freaked out on the color stain, honey maple, that I thought I put on too heavy but came out just what I wanted thanks to your suggestions. The 9 inlays were a knuckle buster for me as well. Here are some photos. I'm still waiting on the 7th coat of Tried & True to fully cure and finish the loading rod. .........labrat

Nice job. I've never been a fan of blond finishes but yours is growing on me. I have a question though. Shouldn't that casting sprue on the trigger guard be removed?
