Hey! :)

So I'm going to be building a Kibler Woodsrunner and have a question. Would a Lemuel Lyman belt pouch be appropriate for this rifle? I own one and am curious if it would be period?

Also, would a finger woven powder horn strap be appropriate? Or would that be too early of a style?

Thanks!

Just curious, it says you are from southern Illinois, approximately where? We could point you to some clubs that could help you on your journey.

For those that do not know, anyone from Chicago thinks south of I80 is southern IL and the rest of us think the line is either I70 or I64 depending on circumstances.

I've been lately seeing more references to Lyman pouches and had assumed it was something made and marketed by the Lyman company. But your post had me looking up some more information and it was a revelation (at least for me 😀)

If the information at the link is accurate, it would seem to be a fit for the Woodsrunner period but others here might have more accurate info.
