Woodsrunner inbound

I received great news from Bree at Kibler's shop: My .54 Woodsrunner is out the door today! I ordered it in October so Kibler's lead time is pretty honest. Can't go wrong with Mr. Kibler's products and business ethics.

Now to finish up this nickel silver .45 golden era project. Only room for one rifle on the bench.

I need to build another bench.

Ordered mine mid-November, haven't heard a peep, not even sure if they got my order except the credit card payment was posted.

I expect you will. I ordered regular grade maple so that be more readily available for Jim to process and get out the door. If you ordered fancy grade wood, could take longer, I reckon.

As much as I like the look of highly figured wood, it can be tricky to carve with the grain changing direction everywhere.

I do not remember the day I ordered in October, but I have been in contact with them and mine should be on the way any day.

I pre-ordered mine last July, and it showed up a few days ago. Apparently part of the problem was with their source of .54 barrel blanks...
