Wool Haversack with the Tree of Liberty Embroidered on Linen
A new haversack style forage bag I handmade, “inspired” by the late 18th and early 19th century hunting accoutrement. The body of the bag is made from a window pane checked wool fabric and fully lined with an interior pocket. All hand-stitching done with natural linen and hemp beeswaxed thread. The flap is red toned linen and beautifully embroidered with the the folk art style weeping willow by my wife Janet. The strap in a heavy woven cotton webbing. The bag measures 10x12 with a 54” strap. This would make a wonderful addition for anyone into Muzzleloading…hunting…reenacting...or as a beautiful wall hanging decor.
