A new haversack / shot bag shot bag inspired by the style of the late 18th early 19th century hunting accoutrements. The bag is made from a quality blue wool fabric and pillow ticked back dyed and distressed with walnut hulls.. The flap is a cotton light with duct fabric and backed with a heavier canvas and secures with a leather tab and pewter button. The flap materials were dyed with walnut hulls from the tree in our back yard. The flap features a beautifully embroidered folk art motif with the popular heart and tulip design created by my wife Janet. Embroidery in this quality is very labor intensive! The bag is 9 x 12 with a 49″ woven strap. Fully lined with an interior pocket. Also includes a small tool bag. This would make a wonderful addition for anyone reenacting…into muzzleloading…or as beautiful wall hanging decor.
