WOW I AM RETARDED!!!

Ok so today I was messing with a .54 Renegade barrel today trying to finish some rust removal. Ran the rod down with some scotchbrite on it and pulled it out all clean yay. Decided to pull my plug out of the nipple hole and oh no nothing comes out. Great been working on a loaded barrel this whole time without knowing it? Not quite.

Stick my rod down with the ball puller and just a thud at the bottom. OH BOY!!! Thread it in and give it a pull oh boy its stuck real bad I thought. Go inside and get the big ball puller out and run it down...thud start twisting away on it and pull it out. Guess what was at the end??? Not a ball but a small Chem light I had used to check the bores condition originally. It had kind of melted into a mass of plasticky goo after sitting for about 2 weeks in PB Blaster. Got everything out and cleaned up the bore actually looks pretty dang good I must say. Now to get some range reports for it.

As a mechanic we use the word "retarded" in regards to timing, both in electrical and fuel delivery, just means slower, or before . . .
