Lookin to get a flintlock in my kit bag and found NIB Pedersoli Blue Ridge. Worth 700 bucks? 50 or 54 cal? As you can tell, I don't know a lot but love shooting.

Ok I’ll give a little of my opinion. Blue ridge guns are good. Production guns. I’ve had several Mine in flint sparked well. I would go 54. Especially if you are figuring to hunt deer. I think 700$ is over priced on this they originally started selling in mid nineties for 295$. Was a great staring gun at that price. Could buy for under 500$ used anytime pre COVID Now post COVID manure with demand people keep pushing for more. At the 700$ your close to finding a good used semi custom gun from a guy

Unless you have suspicions that gun values will go down in the near future - I think $700 for NIB is probably good and fair (you're not gettin' swindled and don't have to feel guilty stealing it from a widow who doesn't know better). Lots of us old guys remember when things were cheaper. But if you wait around until you find one for under $500 you'll lose a lot of valuable shootin' time.

$700 is a bit on the high side for that rifle, but not within reason. Go .54 btw
I spent $900 on a used .54 semi-custom rifle back in 2008. That gun new retails close to $2000. Just look at our classifieds which often have semi-custom rifles and guns..., they're not selling for near $700, is all that I can say.

Just paid 75 cents a gallon for gas more than I paid last week. Why I say, 700 sounds reasonable to me and I would be worried what it will go for in a couple weeks. Like all other stuff, watching the sites, these muzzleloader’s are going up. Even Kibler just announced a increase.

Yet-Everything is up to ridiculous prices. Seek and Ye shall find, just don’t expect it immediately. You may need to look for a decent deal for a little while.

try adding up the sum of all the parts, then add up what time is involved finishing the gun. even though they are using machines to reduce labor, i would bet you couldn't assemble the parts and finish that gun for 700.00. and remember inflation is going to gobble up that 700.00 if it sits unused.

I think $700 is reasonable for a NIB Pedersoli Blue Ridge. Get a 54 though if you want to hunt with it. What year was it made? Date code is 2 letters in a box on the barrel. I bought a 1967 Mustang in 1973 for $1200. Now it's worth $20,000, wish I still had it! Go for the rifle and have fun!

$700 is definitely in reason in todays market. I shoot one and I would not part with it for less than $700 used.

I paid well over $800 for mine. $700 is decent depending on condition and make.

Let just say to build a flintlock about 300 for a stock around 250 300 for a rice barrle around 200 for a lock and triggers and guard butt plate around 200 more now your in at 1000. If you can do all the work. If not you will need someone to do it

Chambers has kits just over $700. Why would you want anything less.

Just saw a used lyman great plains in left hand for $629. $700 sounds high but so does $4 per gallon for gas.

Thank You for info. I appreciate. And 4 bucks for gas? I went to Wally's for cabbage and loaf of bread. Passed Maverick and Diesel was 4.29. After 15 min shopping came back and had jumped to 4.49.
