OK, I'm home alone on my day off and the UPS truck just pulled up.

There is a huge box from Panther Primitives sitting here in the living room.

I did not order this box!

I did not order anything from Panther.

It might be a bomb, I think I should check!!!

In the interest of homeland security, you should at the very least, shake it...

After all, you never know...

How are your unwrapping/re-wrapping skills? :winking:

When I was younger, I use to unwrap/re-wrap gifts and then sell the information to my brothers and sisters, the only way I got caught was that I re-wrapped better than mom did originally...

ok, here's what you do....

Very careful tap the box with a broom handle. If nothing happens, low crawl across the living room, and tap it with a wooden spoon. if nothing happens at that point, carefully lift the box off of the floor, wrap it in a blanket and set it on your front porch. I will be by shortly to dispose of it properly for you....

you're safety is paramount to us.... :relax:

yeah, but if you look around you can find schematics to build yourself one a LOT cheaper.

Another fun one is the .58 Coffee Grinder from the Civil War...percussion fired machine gun similar to the gattling gun but has a revolving cylinder instead of revolving barrels.

Ghost,

Whatever you do DON"T OPEN IT! Call them back and ship it straight to my house and I'll check it for you. :winking:

Good luck with it!

As they stand there looking at the smoldering foundation, I can hear them now:
"Poor fellow. He didn't have a Ghost of a chance!"

Go ahead, open it.

the suspence is killing me open it....as long as it dosen't kill ya ....know one said they where sending anything to ya :hmm:....ok now that that's out of the way who sent the present....there's a sneaky one among us....well did ya open it yet...........................bob

I need some persona helper! So far I have four pages done and I haven't gotten past 1715!

And I am soooo busted!!

I waited too long before I started the bomb disarmement and got caught. It must not have been too dangerous because the wife snatched the box up and ran into the other room and nothing exploded, except a bit of her temper.

All evening she's been roaming around mumbling, "Homeland security! That's a good one!!!"

She even called her mother and sister and told on me! I'm not too afraid of her mother, she likes me pretty well and lives in Pheonix. That's a long way off and she'll be over her mad spell before she can cover the ground. The sister lives just around the block. She's a reenactor too so I could be in really deep doggy-do!

Ok....can you give dimensions and weight???
She picked it up and ran...well, that lets' out a 21'x21' tent. Would need a fork lift for that. :results:

So..... :shocking: how big...you got your hands around it...right :nono:

What you do is get someone else to open it for you, small kids are best for this job...

Hey PJ, daddy thinks there is a cookie in that box... :winking:

This is starting to sound like the time I complained to a certain manufacturer about a tin of musket caps that I purchased from a certain predatorial retailer. The tins was short some twenty caps, yes, I do count my caps. The manufacturer kindly sent out a replacement tin, x 24, in a box wrapped in orange tape with large letters spelling out EXPLOSIVES, over and over. The package delivery service, that shall remain nameless, illegally stuffed it in my roadside mailbox for all to see. My thoughtful neighbor called the local constabulary, who promptly came out to investigate. They in turn call my home to alert me to the possible danger. Talk about a comedy of errors! Had a good laugh and still have plenty of caps though.

   :haha: :haha: :haha:
