Yard sale pot

This is an iron pot that I found at a yard sale today. It looks as if it 20th century, but it has odd handles, a round casting sprue on the bottom, and aa crown with G R under it on the other side. It says Holcroft 24 Pts and T No 410 297 and S.E. Pat. 1932/12918.
Anyone have any info onit?

Man that is neat! Sorry I don't know anything about your Yard Sale find, but the date might suggest, that it's a reproduction cast from original mold?????

There were 6 Georges (GR). 2 were 20th century.

Probably a army or navy cooking pot from the 1930's. The style is not 18th or early 19th century.

You might be able to get a good price for it, from a Brit WWII reenactment group. :thumbsup:

It looks like a great score

I would clean it, season it and use it in the kitchen or outside fire pit at home.
