Received my copy of Feb. MuzzleBlasts and there's two articles of mine in it. One is about riflemen who missed their target but still contribute to victory. The other is about tips picked up from the 2004 Oregon Gun Makers' Fair. ::

Wow, first the phone book, and now this...

Things are looking your way...

Great job Gary, may it be the first in a long line of published articles for you...

That's fantastic, Gary! MuzzleBlasts is a hard magazine to get into, so you must have really done it right!

Huzzah!

Nicely done, Gary! When do you expect your book to hit the market, "Sharpshooters"? I bet it will be a great read!

Congrats Gary. I used to write short stories and had a few published. The kicker is every magazine that published me went out of business within 6 months after my name appeared!!!!!....Buckskin Report....American Rendezvous...RIP. :(  I respect the muzzleloading magazines out now too much to curse them with my writing. Glad you got published and hope to see many more of your articles. :applause: :applause:

Hey, congrats!

Muzzleblasts IS kinda' tough to get into, but Editor Eric Bye is a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor. (He first started publishing some of my stuff a couple of years ago - Just short stories and poetry, so far my actual articles haven't quite made the cut. :))

Again, congrats! It's a great feeling, ain't it?

I've asked for one week off to go in April so I can go to the National Archives & the Library of Congress. There's a few folks I have to dig some info out on to make the text feel more complete. I plan to "cheat" and also see the Native American Museum (Smithsonian) and the Navy Museum at the Washington Navy Yard. Book should be done by this year.

Congrats Gary.I've been down with the "crud" this past week and about the only fun was reading my Muzzleblasts.Enjoyed the articles.Looking forward to reading your book when it comes out.
