There is a difference in the "smoke/heat temperatures" of some of the oils.

You might want to research soybean oil and wax. What are the properties of the different oils that you are aware of?
Grape seed oil has the highest flame temp of all the oils, I have used it exclusively for years, in all my lube mixes, also best for frying dead fish, IMOOf all the different oils, Crisco, Corn, Canola, Olive, EV Olive, Peanut etc. etc., Im wondering, what is your favorite to use in making mixed lubes and why?
