My Walker is a bit different than my 1860 when installing caps. 1860 Colts are easier to cap. But maybe my fingers getting a little clumsy. What is your favorite capper? Straight-line?

I have several of these for my percussion revolvers and rifles. They are great to do business with. The only hangup that I experienced was a delay with customs. At least that was explained to me at the post office. You will not want to use any other capper after this one.

Here is his YouTube channel. Some of the videos are in Polish and some in English. And his English isn't so good. Don't let that bother you as the visual is what is good.

The Ted Cash snail capper works well. But if you are going to buy a new one I would look at the Polish capper. I don’t have one yet, but I going to for my Remingtons.

Have you tried these on a Colt Walker? Nipples are different from SAA.
The nipples shouldn't make any difference. The star cappers accomodate both #10 and #11 caps. I've used them on an 1848 Dragoon, which is a pretty big heavy beast like the Walker. You can get them in either six or twelve cap versions.

My Ted Cash Snail capper caps my Walker as easy as it does my 1860 Army, 51 and 61 Navies, three Dragoons (all Uberti), and Pietta 51 Navy 44 and US Marshall 44. Must use straightline cappers on Remington's and Ruger OA. The Ol finger capper IMO is the worst and lousiest capper on the market. The Polish cappers look ok, pricey but have no need of one, can do alot of shooting with a Ted Cash full of caps.
