I've had a channel since 2016, been very glad for the support. If you watch or have watched, I appreciate it.
I haven't collected moneyat all until March I started setting things up to do so.
Maybe once money is involved they get to watching you more. I don't know.

Last week I got flagged for a video of my daughter shooting her .22 crickett at a steel plate.
"Child Safety Concern" it said. They didn't leave it up and pull the monetization. They straight up took it down.
Video of casting roundballs they took down a few years ago so I uploaded it again and put a different thumbnail up.
"Public Safety Concern".

Told me I couldn't upload content for 2 weeks.

I'm now trying to decide if I should continue under their yoke within their parameters or quit altogether and focus on the sport and fridndships.

Apparently starting June 18 no videos allowed of homemade firearms.

Our country needs prayer guys...it's not the country I grew up in and I was only born in 1990.
Those sci-fi movies where an all-seeing dictator seeks to control every thought and movement of the entire population? IT'S HERE NOW!! See the 1980's Super Bowl ad where a woman throws a monkey-wrench thru the screen of "Big Brother"!! It's here NOW!

I love watching YouTube and have learned a lot from the creators. I think it is very simple and there is no agenda except to demonetize everything for the creators, so YouTube can keep all the money for themselves. There really is no other comparable alternative video platform. Rumble sucks. So YouTube has creators by the short hairs, for now.

They are attempting to balance - they need the revenue from some gun content, but need to be seen as “ progressive “ by the liberal elite. And avoid a lawsuit from someone who” learned about a Glock switch on you tube and killed someone.” So they will show someone popping cans all day, but absolutely will not show anything educational on firearms that you can actually use. Can’t have the great unwashed learning skills to fight the oppressors….

I recall a time when any illegal tweaking done to anything relating to autos was total anathema; guys wouldn't even breathe words about it, as if they would be in the can with the Birdman of Alcatraz for life. Now we hear that criminals are obtaining little plastic things for evil purposes. What a world!!

Youtube is currently being challenged by GOA over it's 2A censoring and it's about damn time. I belong to TFA, but when I heard this, I immediately joined GOA to give them support.
Hopefully that lawsuit fails. You Tube is a private company that should be allowed to host or censor any videos they want. The country is in a very bad place when the government can tell You Tube they have to host videos that they don't want to. If government can force them to host gun videos, they can also force Muzzleloading Forum to allow discussions about ballerina costumes. If you don't like You Tube policies, then use Rumble instead.

I am on Youtube to all the time to find out how other people did things. Otherwise I would have had to stumble and fall like a cave man.

I wouldn't stay with them. And I'd tell them why and inform them that I was going to let their sponsors know why as well. It's their right to do this. But it is also our right to ignore them.

It is human nature is to oppose control. The more pressure is applied in an attempt to subjugate the population the resistance increases -- sometime logarithmically. The only result i can see from those wanting to suppress others is a tendency toward increased chaos and misery for all.

Shame folks don't realize what Prohibition did for overall human misery. Its worse now that many think its not only "cool" to openly defy the rule of law, its profitable.
