My percussion caps were to be delivered today but no one here to sign for the delivery! My stepson was asleep and didn't hear the doorbell at 1:06 PM. SMDH!

I'm Tim. I just joined today. I've had a couple of muzzleloaders for years. Both from Traditions, a .45 and a .50 caliber. Last week I acquired a Pedersoli 1861 Springfield .58 caliber. I'm currently gathering supplies for the maiden shooting event.
Hello and welcome! I’m not far from you I live in Buckingham Co.

Hi, I'm in Lynchburg.
Very cool! If you Facebook, you might consider reaching out to the Virginia Muzzleloading Rifle Association - https://www.facebook.com/p/Virginia-Muzzle-Loading-Rifle-Association-100064909081657/

Alternatively, the VMLRA secretary is Dave Clark who is also a NMLRA Field Representative for Virginia (and my hunting buddy, fellow scouter, and muzzleloading mentor). He's affiliated with the Riflemen of Wynne's Falls (a Danville Va club) and his contact info is here under Virginia - https://www.nmlra.org/field-representatives

He'd be glad to hear from you (or anyone in Virginia!!).

Thank you for the info. I'm anxious to get going with the Springfield.
