1861 Springfield Barrel Patina issues
Maybe test some vinegar on the barrel where it is hidden by the stock. I aged a replica that was bought in the white when I was a kid. It took several applications to even out.- boberator

Agreed. There is always room for improvement in any business. Issues at TRS are more obvious than larger companies with multiple employees and a more advanced inventory System. Flints
Many years ago I bought some flints to try to save wearing out the original ones. I think they were said to be”synthetic “ flints or they had been sawed from a suitable mineral. They didn’t look original since there were no flakes removed but had perfectly parallel sides and a good angle on each...- boberator
