SOLD - Pending funds Hudson Bay white with red/pink stripe.

Vintage HB blanket originally the stripe was red but has faded to a more pinkish color over the years.
There are a few moth holes in this one but it is still serviceable as a camp blanket. it is probably past it's prime for use as a capote though.

No friend I wouldn't lie like that, it is what it is. I've got a red with black stripe I'll be putting up soon ....no pink.

Oh, and by the way you know pink was a very popular color in the 18th century? George Washington had a pink three-piece suit.

Technically not. Pink wasn’t invented yet, it would have been light red, blush red or some such name

On a cold night you would be very glad to have a Hudson Bay Blanket to wrap yourself in. The color would mean nothing. I have a HBB and a HB Capote, there is nothing like it for warmth.

Yup. I camp with a couple of ‘em in winter. Can’t beat them for warmth.

The actual colour, according to my sources in Williamsburg, was called “Aurora!”

You can get past the pink. You'll be covered with it and eyes will be closed, sleeping.

What are the dimensions of the blanket?

Rodeo has "Tough enough to wear pink" days...Muzzleloaders can have "Tough enough to sleep in a pink stripe HBC blanket" days.
