Hi guys and gals!

I have a lot of felt laying around. I want your opinion on what you think about the idea of making various small pouches, a small ball bag, heck, maybe even a possibles bag out of felt material?

Indians made shooting bags from wool cloth, don’t know how sturdy modern felt would be in the long run.

I doubt the felt my wife uses for crafts would hold up very well.

Lots of history of what materials have worked for which purposes. Seems silly to contravene it.
Felt is made by compressing fibers. At a guess, its durability will be a function of what fibers were compressed.

I have used it for wraps on beaded knife sheaths, but I would not use it for a pouch for lead round ball.
