Got this in a trade with some other stuff I wanted. I didn't see any pictures of it close up. Just figured it was a plated brass.
Well it looks like it might have been a kit. Kinda rough looking. A magnet sticks to everything except the trigger guard and wood.
I'm not into fancy. But can that be remedied? After all was said and done. I have about 300 in it and some time. The bolt was not releasing at full cock. I got that fixed. Works great now. It was so clean inside out, I believe it was never used.
Its a DGG. But holy cow. That's a lot of sanding to remove those machine marks or whatever it is. I've seen them rough before but this one takes the cake. Or is there some kind of a way to do it?
Like I said, I'm not into fancy and not sure it's worth my time.

Is it plated ? Or raw steel ? Some of that overseas stainless can attract a magnet ... only way to smooth that barrel is to draw file it ... the frame looks to be cast , lots of sanding to correct it all ... Makes me tired to look at it ...

I have no idea if it's raw, plated or stainless.
Yeah my feelings also. Too old for that.
