This is hands down, the Finest black powder revolver I own. I admit I used a rest for the barrel today because I wanted to check the gun and not me. I hate to say it but I am also on 4 liters of oxygen 24-7 so just walking out to put the target up is a chore. At 15 yards my group for 48 rounds was 6". Fully 50% were 3 to 4 in the same hole and I had flyers. Not a single malfunction of the revolver in any way and it is smoooooth.
Just for fun. What load/bullet/cap,sizes did you use?

20 grains of Swiss 3F, lubed wads and .380 home cast balls.
.380 Seems to be my preferred .36cal size lately. Glad to here zero malfunctions, but we expected that.LOL! Thanks for the follow-up.

Mike, you forgot to mention the extra grease groove in the arbor!
Ahhh !!! The "fouling groove"!!
It's a deeper groove located right at the face of the cylinder. It allows the fouling to bypass the intersection of the cylinder/arbor rather than "detoured" between the two.

That hammer appears to have an extra hole : lighting hole ?
Yes, the hammer in the "action stop" photo is a "shop hammer" that has been radically lightened. (good eye !)

This is one of the reasons I say Mike is the 'best'. I've sent him 3 guns so far, and while none of them were showstoppers to begin with, they handle and operate like no other guns in my collection, even some of the NIB unfired ones.
