What to do woth patches when cutting at the muzzle?

For those that cut at the muzzle, what do you do with your patch strips when shooting from the piuch and cutting at the muzzle?

I mostly use precut, however the best idea I think I saw was tied in a simple half knot on the strap. And slid up and down the strap as needed

I have cut a button hole in the end of the strip and buttoned to my shirt at muzzle height. No button? Safety pin

I have a few thongs on my bag shoulder strap, Just tie a strip to the thong and replace when used up.

I tie to my bag strap. When used up I discard.
