KY is sticky. I don’t think you want it in your barrel.
Why is muzzleloading so difficult, so complicated; I mean like NOTHING WORKS!
Either can't get it, can't find it, cost to much, shoots too high, too low, not at all, needs to be better, worse, simpler, harder....
THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!!
It's no wonder they stopped using and invented unmentionables!
But then even unmentionables don't work so they invented....ABOMINATION
THAT'S IT!! I'm taking up knitting instead!
At least TOW mink oil and bear oil keeps then needles knitting and stitching like a well lubed machine.

Now seriously, I’ve found if you crush up one of those blue pills mix it in my patch lubricant I can reduce powder by 15% and shoot straighter!

Spit is a personal lubricant, and it makes a pretty good patch lube too.
spit with tobacco juice is even better
Mutton tallow is now being sold as a skin moisturizer. I have been using it as a traditional patch lube with great success for several years.
