I know that a lot of us on this forum are in the same demographic with aging eyes, so I thought I would ask the group. I am scheduled to have a vitrectomy and a procedure to peel scar tissue off of the macula of my left eye. The scar tissue is from several retinal tears that were repaired successfully with a laser several years ago. This epiretinal membrane, or macular pucker, is not uncommon, but sometimes progresses to where it causes blurred, wavy vision in the affected eye, which is where I am at. Have any of you been through this or a similar procedure? If so, it would be helpful to me to hear about your experience and the results. Thanks in advance
