Sounds like a good load, 50 grs more than enough under 100 yds.
Oh yeah, I asked nitwit several months back, what his favorite load
Was for his JBMR. And said that's
His favorite, so that's what I went with, And my Rifle likes it, and where I hunt, 50yrds is the max
Distance. It flat out it too him

Well done, is that your largest BP buck?
I love to see guys carry a BP rig in regular season. When I do many people I meet do not believe it
Yes, my largest BP Buck, it your confident in your equipment, no reason why not, now hunting in
Rain maybe a different story, I don't
Because, way I hunt is ground blind
No top, and you get wet, and so will
Your rifle. That's just me though

50gr swiss 3f. 440rb. .015 patch
I ranged the distance after it was all
Over, 40yrd, sighted for 50yrd,
No problems at all,
Thanks 10spot
Very Nice buck, Congrats!! I shoot the same load combo in my T/C Cherokee and was debating if I should use it or the 50 Cal Lyman this deer season in Pa... I wasn't sure if a .440 RB had enough energy to make a clean kill on a Buck at 50 yards. Seeing your post has definitely helped with my decision!! Congratulations again 👍 👍

Thank you, you should not have any
Trouble with that load, this deer was
Shot at 40yrd. Slightly quartering away, and at a slight downward slope, great penetration, it busted the
Ribs on the opposite left side but I couldn't find the Ball, found no exit hole, in the hide
Son took a metal detector (no detection at all so I don't know where
It went, I'm no expert by no means
I do know that load flat out put it to him. Went maybe 30 to 40 yards
And piled up.
Thanks for the compliments Sir.
10Spot.
