Welcome from Alabama. Dixon's would be a great place to start a search for a good flinter. Many talented people display there and I would be willing to bet that there would be more than one good rifle for sale at the show.
 
Long time muzzleloader hunter/shooter. Started back in the early 70s. Harvested my first deer with a .45 cal flintlock during PA's first primitive season.
Can't wait to get to know you guys and receive and share my knowledge with you guys.
My line up of sidelocks consists of a couple T/C Sececas, Hawkens flintlocks and cap locks and a Lyman GPR caplock.
I'm seriously considering taking a run to Dixons here in PA and looking for a good quality custom flinter.
