If you must choose between those two, I'd say the Pedersoli. The Investarm is going to be pretty heavy in a small caliber.
The Traditions Crockett seems to have a strong following among the squirrel hunting members here and avoids the potential stock fit problem of the Pedersoli. If you decide to upgrade the Crockett re sells pretty good.
Twins!! Another thing to keep in mind is you need two of everything for your estate!

My dad bought a Track Kit…years later, still not finished. Kibler Kit, finished in about 1 week. The Kibler Kit is simply surprising how well built they are…

In the meantime take that .50 out and make some meat, have some fun.
I used to hunt squirrels with my .50 cal. T.C.; sometimes with the .54. I wasted the heads, but I never was much on eating the heads anyway. Over the years the sights on those rifles have gotten kinda fuzzy, and I don't climb hills as well as I used to. Grandpa hunted them with a 12ga when I was kid, measured powder and shot in his hand.

Agree. Search for "bloop loads" in here.
I'm paraphrasing off of memory; some guy said in here before, you could probably fill the Grand Canyon with squirrels killed in the past by .45's, .50's and up.

The eye is a better aiming point.
As to that canyon; that's a lot of squirrels, I'm kinda skeptical of that, but I'm also skeptical that a one gun frontier family living off the land, and with the threat of savages, ever kept a small bore as that only gun, so of course the defense gun doubled as squirrel gun.
