    As another poster said in another thread, make sure the cotton ball is 100% cotton, and does not contain any synthetic fibers. Otherwise, you may have trouble cleaning your firearm.

    Diet Rite and other sodas have acid(s) that will do a real number on paint. Not sure what they'd do, over time, to the inside of a barrel.
