    My persona can use the 1903 Springfield too

    I read somewhere that the reason he used a Luger in the movie was that the studio armorers couldn't get a 1911 (45) to work with blanks. I also remember reading,that he, as stated before, traded/swapped/finaggled an '03 instead of the issued enfield.

    Protective oils, etc...

    All outside surfaces (metal and wood) get a good,heavy coat of plain ole' Johnsons Paste wax, left to dry and then buffed off. Never had any external rust while using this. Internally, bore and lockworks, I use a product called TW25B. This stuff is absolutely awesome as far as rust prevention...

    Purty much what everybody else said. My favorite load so far is 10 grains pyodex P and a .310 PRB.     I WAS also a POTENTIAL CUSTOMER. this is the same guy, at Blue grouse, that when I e-mailed him and asked how his 32 cal. maxis shot out of the Crockett's, he replied "I don't feed foreigners" and that was the last I heard from him.

    If it's like the one close to my location, great place for buying golf clubs (whatever you do with those???? Make a snake hook maybe???)or a pair of spandex shorts :: for riding your bicycle, but for hunting / shooting supplies in general , and muzzleloading in particular, find somewhere else...
