    Brass Ramrods

    i broke my wodden ramrod after 10th load, made pure copper one. it is heavy, bends easy, aint red no more, black powder made it realy black. its 8mm should be 9mm, with some hammering it fits nice on a gun.

VESUVIT, CHECH REPUBLIC. thats it. could be 2f. dont matter, it burns fine, 25grs by weight is a light charge. puts holes in paper. 50 maybe 60 today. i had fun, that counts. happy independence day, god bless...

    my rifle has a realy shallow rifleing and i use realy thin pach, 0.010 pillow thicking, and since i messed up some 4 pounds of pure lead with too much of white metall, alloy is waaaay too hard, im thinkin it could be used for RBs, pach drives the ball, it wont damage rifleing, would it?

    today i cut mine patches in a hurry, 1x1inch, some were even bigger, nothing bad happend, i was happy. with my hummble expirience, it dont matter, precut, round, sqware, cut at muzzle, just load em and shoot em. and have fun doin it.

    only modern guns are allowed for hunting. no bp, no bow,spear or tomahawks. you say you go shooting on a trails? i understand trail means a private land or forest with targets at various distantces. u cant do that here. u can if u want to end up in a jail.

    pure cast white metal real bullet is 130grs. cant schrach it, it hard on file, too. i think it wont matter on PRB cus patch drives it, reals got me woryed. well, allway can remelt, add more lead, can i? btw, dont need em for hunting, just for paper work.

    came across white metal, aloy 4 bearings, casted some RB and r.e.a.l.s, they seam to be too hard. 70% pipe lead, 30% white metal. pure r.e.a.l.s weight 200grs, my new ones 170grs.

    thanks boys, as i wrote, i'll be reading most of the time cus out here in croatia, bp guns are prety rare, 200pcs maybe, we"ev just started with it, but we love it. funny, when u bring out a frontloader, they throw away their modern guns and gather around a longrifle. lucky u, u have flinters...
