    Since you dont have a bore light, get one of the little brass cva bore light and some extra button cell batteries. I love mine ! Just make sure to get the green light and not the red one. :nono: Cant see bupkus with the red one...

    Will this work on my Renegade?

    A few years ago I swapped triggers between a Renegade with a single trigger and a Hawken with a set trigger...Do'nt remember having to do any special inletting. Which I would hve since I did'nt know how to inlet at the time ! Hope this helps !

    Which would you choose?

    Have you handled all the guns you've listed...Tried throwing each one up to your shoulder and sighting down the barrel ? You might or might not notice a big difference in the way they feel. And one will probably just feel the the best. That would be the one to use. Good Luck

    I made a mistake in my previous post.... Turns out its not a DeerHunter, but a Traditions Whitetail .50 Cal Percussion ...That might have something to do with the barrel (26") going from octagonal to round ???

    Go online & google search traditionsfirearms.com call customer service Have them send you a set of schematics, an owners manual & a new spring If at all possible dont send them the trigger (if you can fix it yourself, definetly dont send it)

    GET A # 7070 T/C nipple fom somewhere..that will fit it :thumbsup: T/C should have them...you also might want to get two of them.

    My Traditions deer hunter is almost finished...decided to reblue the barrel this week. Looking forward to trying it turkey hunting ! The thing ways about 1/2 as much as my hawken !!! Added the 5mm Hex HEad screw...that shouild help ! Not Sure if the scope will stay on or not...Hardest stock...
