    not firing 1st time after cleaning

    had same problem with pyrodex ,hafter hunting all day it would always hang fire for a half second ,souded like a flintlock going off ,it didnot matter how much i cleaned it or got the oil out or how many caps i snapped before loading ...got some geox real black powder ,problem solved ,,no more...

    ROA holster

    bought a new to me ROA with adjusable sites and i think a7 1/2 barrel ,what is a good holster ? a cheap nylon holster is ok , will a holster for a ruger black hawk work ? or will that be to small because of the ROA ramrod and the ROA frame is a little longer ?

    any problems when using rem #11

    after 20 years not shooting bp revolver ,back in the game got used ROA and new 1851 navy, installed tresco nipples,had 1 tin rem#11 caps they fit snug on both guns ,cant find any#10s anywhere,so orderd 5k of #11(while have money, plant close lose job soon) havent fired either gun yet.anyproblems...

    Just bought mid 70's stainless old army ruger.The base pin is straight till it gets to the bottem base pin screw notch ,from there to the end where the loading plunger hings on ,it is bent downward some .every thing works ,is alittle tight getting base pin in frame though.Did notice if base pin...

    1851 colt how much powder

    bought pietta colt steel frame 1851 navy .36 cal. from cabelas. pietta instruction booklet says use 9-12 gr. of fffg powder. cabelas sent there there own instruction booklet it says use 22 gr of fffg powder, which one is right?

    buffing tc trigger sear to make lighter pull

    have tc renegade with creepy hard pull, older feller (60 ish) at range said use cloth buffing wheel on grinder or dremal on sear ,trigger ,hammer to smooth everything up instead of using stones .not verygood or have the stones .enybody ever try the buffing wheel method?

    how many shots with co2 unloader

    havent opened it up yet ,but how many times can one co2 cartidge unload a.50 cal hawken befoe it runs dry?it only came with one catridge will use it for stuck balls just curious ,will buy extras next trip to wally world ,sportsmen warehouse where i got it didnot have the extras
