    Shooting Accessory Wallet

What an awesome tool. The only thing missing is a nipple wrench for us caplock users. Think you can work one of them in there somewhere. I am putting this on my Christmas list. With or without the wrench.

    Coyote Knife

Another good looking knife. Is there a tutorial somewhere that describes how to fit the tang into a jaw bone? I like the look and since my son and I collect skulls I always seem to have a good supply of large dog breeds we've found. Deer jaws are a dime a dozen round these parts.

    Give them the finger!

I think that looks pretty darn good for a fake finger. Nice job.

    Need some wood advice.

Make sure you clamp a scrap piece of wood to the back of your your block before you start drilling. No matter how sharp your drill bit is it will catch on the back of your workpiece as the bit exits causing tear-out every time. By clamping a scrap piece of wood to the back of the workpiece you...

.32 Is it a good deal?

It was traded to the shop as a Traditions and it does have some sort of name that was once engraved on the bottom of the butt. Since i could not make out was was inscribed there (no glasses with me) one of the guys working there said it looked like ITALY. But he said it was hard to make out. I...

    1851 Pietta Confederate Navy

Thanks for all the advice. If I had made the decision to purchase I would have sold the reenactment stuff to someone already involved. I know me and if I were to keep something like that some new clothing items, a tent and a few other things I don't need would be in my future. The Battle of...

    Dark bore on Traditions Pioneer

This sounds like something I can do to better one of my barrels. Thanks for the info. When you Fire Lap, do you use a full load or does it matter?

    T/C & Investarms lock polishing

Thank you for the great tutorial and I don't mind if the right terms or names are ever used. I call this little thingy, little thingy and so on. Those pictures are worth a thousand words. I appreciate all the trouble and time you put in to honoring my request for what you did to improve...

Frankenrifle 2; The English-ish Sporting gun

For us newbies out here can you describe "stoned and Polished". I have the exact looking Investarms lock with a double set trigger and I can't stand the way the actions feels when pulling back the hammer or when I squeeze the trigger. I have cleaned the heck out of it and oiled everything but...

    1851 Pietta Confederate Navy

I've found a .44 1851 Confederate Navy for sale that comes with a very nice leather belt holster, leather belt, extra cylinder, leather cylinder belt pouch, confederate sword and scabbord. The guy selling the complete set up is only asking $400 for everything and I am thinking about buying it...

.32 Is it a good deal?

As always Zonie, you are a wealth of information and your response goes above and beyond what I had hoped to receive. After talking a bit with one of the shop owners we settled on $80 if I decided to buy it. Thanks for all the info.

.32 Is it a good deal?

It does index correctly and the nipples are all good. I didn't think to check for clicks on the hammer. Never owned or even thought about buying a revolver before. Everything seemed to be functional and tight fitting. Just a bit of wear here and there.

.32 Is it a good deal?

I was just at my local (usually overpriced) gun shop picking up some BP and I happened to notice a Traditions .32 C&B Revolver with a 4" barrel. Since this store usually doesn't sell traditional BP guns I was shocked. What would a decent price for this gun be and can anyone tell me what model...

Newbie? What load for my 50 Cal?

I have to agree with Rat Trapper, T7 is the only thing I can get locally. At $28.99 a pound, I cringe every time I see one of my boys spill some at the range. I will also admit, I would like to be able to financially afford every combo of powder, patch and rb everyone seems to tout as the...

    Is brake cleaner bad?

Thanks for all the info and input. Guess I'll continue to use it when I think I need it. Once I get this old barrel as clean as it'll get I.m sure good ole water and a few patches will all that will be needed in the future.
