    Trouble with GPR sight

I am pretty new and ignorant to this all. Do I peen the sight, or the grove on the barrel?

    Trouble with GPR sight

Yep, I went down the street to a machinist, and he took his digital calipers to both. Primitive sight at the base is 343, adjustable at the base is 350. They told me with that little of a deviation there is nothing they can do.

    Trouble with GPR sight

Ive got a Lyman GPR, and wanted to install the primitive sight. So I got the adjustable sight off, and ofcoarse the primitive sight slides right thru the slot. The diffrence in the size is only 7000's of an inch, and Lyman says I will have to "pin" the sight on the barrel. So the question is...

    question on the lyman GPR

For now I am sticking with the adjustable rear sight.Up and down is pretty obvious, but moving it side to side is my concern, dont want to ruin anything. Both nipple wrenches I tried were real sloppy, could probably work it, but it was not near to being a snug fit.

    question on the lyman GPR

Being new to black power, I have a couple rookie questions regarding my percussion GPR. First is I cannot find a nipple wrench that fits properly. Any online place to order one. Second, when adjusting the rear sight left or right, what is the best way to do that?

    Hello from Oregon

Yep, had a blast and met alot of good people. Big thanks goes to Brett for letting me shoot, even though I got out there late. Been busy reasearching guns since I left. It's probably to late to save myself.

    Hello from Oregon

Just happened to stumble accros this site, and it looks exactly like what I need. I dont own a muzzleloader yet but I want to change that. It seems pretty hard to find info in my area about them. I love the history of the fur trade era, and am looking to someday purchase a repro muzzleloader...
