    So I got this fowler with a Colerain turkey barrel on it, and was wondering what you fellas thought was the max load I could put in it without blowin it up? It's got a .62 down to a .58 choked barrel on it.

    Thanks Wick. I got it red hot with some charcoal and forced air. Dunked it directly into the canola oil at 125. Tempered it in the oven at 375 for an hour. Did all this twice, and when I tried to turn it dark blue with the torch, both times I couldn't seem to get the back of the striking...

    So me and my buddy went to the range armed with 6 muzzle loaders, we both brought our .45 Cherokees. We both broke the adjustment screw on top of the sight within 5 minutes of each other.     So I messed around and got bit by the bug and have wound up with 4 muzzle loaders that I can talk about on here. One of em is a Pedersoli 10 gauge. The triggers are very difficult to pull and I was wondering if there is a way to make them easier to pull? Thanks in advance.
