    how much cotton?

    Make sure its 100% cotton or your bore may have melted man made material stuck to it. Happened to me and I had to use steel wool and lots of shooting to burn it out :cursing:

    I have had one for years and its a great gun. If it fits you and is in good shape you are getting a great deal. I think you will be surprised at how well it does with a patched ball. They do well with just wasp nest wadding to. Deadly out to 50 or 60 yards.
