    SOLD .610 Tanner RB Mould

Hello, As the title says , had this mould made for a rifle I don't have anymore. Has never even been used to cast a single ball. Comes with Tanners handle. On the website this would be over $70. I'll sell to your door for $50. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks again,

CLOSED Brown Bess ~ See Revised Listing.

The Japanese Bess's had this odd angled look to the bow of the triggerguards. Did you straighten it? If not, I agree it's a Pedersoli and not Japanese. Nice job bringing her back to life!

    " Defarbed "

Referring to fully using technology to create the kit that he does. He's doing things that others never have using technology that has been around, just not necessarily used to produce a muzzleloaders. That's why I think it the most modern made gun in the industry, contemporarily speaking. Didnt...

    " Defarbed "

What exactly do you think a Kibler is? It's probably the most modern made gun in the muzzleloding industry.

    Is this Greek?

It's not British that's all I know. P53's and their knockoffs were the AK-47 of the 19th century. They were used and sent all over. So it wouldn't be unheard of if it was Greek marked, but probably not manufactured.

Kibler has announced a Hawken Kit in the works.

I hope Kiblers next build is a copy of the rifle that Wallace Gusler builds in the Gunsmith of Williamsburg. Wallace did an ok job, but Kibler tech will make a better gun.

Early 1700's French "Woods Runner's" Long Arms?

That's boy looks like he's from 1840, not 1710. But my choice would be a buccaneer.

Kibler has announced a Hawken Kit in the works.

Awesome, can't wait to see the "My Kibler Hawken finally done" posted 20 times a day, followed shortly by "Kibler Hawken For Sale" posted 10 times daily.

Wanted 1855 roots rifle by palmetto reproduction

The last one I saw sell on the N-SSA site was only $3000 last year. They are neat, but a novelty. Just like the original Colts, nobody wants to put their hands on the forearm because of the chance of a chain fire of all the cylinders.

Help me identify this old firearm

I think it's Mid Eastern or Mediterranean, sometimes referred to as a "dag". Look on some of the auction sites. Prices vary.

    Flintlock Short Rifle Information.

It could be accurate, but with a short sight radius it would be difficult. Like others mentioned, it wasn't designed as a target gun, but to ride your prey down from horseback. Specific gun for a specific situation.

    1815 Dutch Musket

Here's one from Bolk Antiques: https://www.bolk-antiques.nl/inventory/long-guns/long-guns-european-other/a-very-nice-antique-dutch-model-1815-rifled-percussion-musket-converted-from-flintlock-caliber-175-mm-length-144-cm-in-very-good-condition-price-1-850-euro-2999499 Seems like yours is...

Does this look like an original?

Something isn't right with it. Looking at Whisker, Hartzler, and Yantz, it doesn't match the one pictured. Couple things stand out to me, the STEEL marking you see on Colt barrels, but not usually on L,G, and Y. The buttplate inlet is not a good as it should be. These were all done on precise...

I've seen that at many a reenactment. It's always cool to see

    Value of Austrian Lorentz

Civil War firearms seem to have regular swings in value. I think repros are way overpriced nowadays, but if people keep buying them, the prices will never come down. It's crazy! I choose not to shoot my originals. I'm also picky that I only buy guns with patina. I don't want a 170 year old gun...

    Value of Austrian Lorentz

Yeah you see them a lot for $1200-$1400 range. Some are quality pieces made for the Austrian military. The ones made for export vary in quality. Some were bored out to .58 cal for Union contracts, but a lot were left in their original bore of .54. Don't know if you plan to shoot it, but they...

What to do with this abused model 1842 musket

Id leave it be. Its probably been through a war( maybe in the hands of a Confederate), and then served as a game getter and home protector. That's a lot more than most guns make it through.

My now broken Ethan Allen Shotgun

Id use small threaded rod instead of dowels. Coat the rod and hole with epoxy and install.

    1829 WBlake

It's got moderate corrosion around the breech from the corrosive caps and powder. Could very well have been a early war gun. It's a good deal
