    Kibler kit assembly and carving

Beautiful work as always! You mentioned the barrel as one of Jim's. I take it this kit came with one of the new Green Mountain "blanks" they get and finish in house? Do you have an opinion, you're willing to share, about these versus Rice barrels?

    Frizzen questions

I've wondered if "frizzen" is a much newer term than most think. Is it possible that it came about the same time as the short starter? Like the late '60's early '70's? It drives me nuts when a "Living History Expert" uses the new terminology while wearing period dress and etc!

    Smoothbore rate of twist?

Tip Curtis made me a Fussil that has no rate of twist but it does have micro forward rifling that imparts a forward roll to a PRB just like a bowling ball. o_O Just kidding. It would be really cool if someone like Mythbusters took on this "myth". I'm sure they could figure out what's is...

RayJ has a brand new bag!

Nicely done! Do you know what your leather was (tan, weight)?

First black powder rifle, headed to the range.

Nicely done! BTW, is that a Stelvio in your avatar?

    Six shooter C&B

I've never dropped a pistol so I always load six. The guy that lectured me about loading five "for safety sake" was also wearing both suspenders and a belt to hold up his britches!

    Jim Kibler's Colonial Kit

    Nicely done! What caliber?

    Fast Flintlock

I think they're hard to find. I've just watched a whole slough of videos on YouTube and many people fill the pan as full as they can get it which, for me, slows lock time.

    Ballistol Alternate

I've had trouble describing the smell. One day my daughter walked into the room and said "That smells like cow butt!" I think she pegged it!

    Colt Dragoon "accessories"

I wouldn't use FFg in a pistol but FFFg. I do powder then farina or corn meal then a wad then ball. I would try .454 first and see if that fits.

What is the "popular" fowler right now?

I usually want to find what's popular and get the opposite

Yes, I just bought a GREAT Fusil from him.

    "Turn" on AMC

I missed it. Can you watch it online?

Test firing a brace of Dance & Brothers pistols

Wow!!! Very cool  Talk about hens teeth! I never seen one in person let alone two together. If I recall, there's only about 100 left & most are in .44!

    I think I have a House rifle

That's terrible! Reminds me of the longbow that came in a 90 degree box!!! I really don't like usps!

    Leaving musket loaded

Howdy neighbor! I too have been hunting only with a longbow for last 10 years. All good advice above. I think you'll be good if you avoid wide temperature swings.

    Customizing a Pedersoli

    Nicely done!
