12 Ga.New Englander choke tube for turkeys?

I use a primos tightwad choke tube for my new englander, I also use the wonder wads, two over powder and one over shot. I never take my choke out when loading, seems to work fine.

    Left handed t/c renegade info?

I found a LH Renegade 54 in kit form at a local dealer about a year ago, still in the original box. It had about a inch of dust on it as it was on a shelf in the back corner. Needless to say, it went home with me. Also have a LH New Englander in 12 gauge. Both sweet guns.

    Beginners Lefthand flinter

I use 70 gr of 3f and rb in my left handed deerstalker, works great. Have been using hornady great plains for hunting for the past few years, with no patch, simplifies things with one less thing to carry and use.

    12 gauge muzzleloader help

Check out rmc sports online catalog and their item number 7300 for the 12 gauge. I have used these with my choked tc new englander for years. I use two over the powder and one over the shot, they go thru choked tubes easily.

    .32 GM in GPR?

I had a 32 barrel for my Lyman trade rifle and it was really heavy, too much in fact. The GPR is going to be a load.

    Favorite conical?

First, thankyou for your service and sacrifice. I just reread your post and saw you had the hunter barrel. For that I like the Power Belts, they are easy to load and shoot real well.

    TVM or Gerald Taylor

Another fan of TVM here, Matt and Toni are the best. I have their fowler and iron lancaster, both beautiful guns and fine shooters.

    Traditions Flintlock

You can get the same rifle new from Midsouth for 240, dont pay 250! As previously mentioned, a reconditioned lyman trade is a far better rifle. I have owned both and there is no comparison.

    Picture of TVM

I have two TVMs, a iron lancaster and a fowler. They are both left handed models. You cant go wrong with TVM and Toni and Matt are great folks to deal with. I dont have a clue on posting pictures unfortunately.

    Hornady PA Conicle in GPR?

They shoot great in my GPR with 70 gr 3F, as for the lube, the first thing I do when I get them is to soak them in mineral spirits to get that axle grease off and then relube them.

    First Flinter but which one?

Comparing a TC to a Traditions is like comparing a Honda to a Hyundai. Go with the TC, you wont regret it.

Accuracy with a loose load in a smoothbore

The fun with smoothies. I load the powder, over powder wad, drop a .610 ball down the barrel with no wad, then an over shot card. Works real well.

    lookin for a .32 barrel

I have the 32 barrel for mine and got it from rmcsports.com. I had to file the hooked breech slightly and another simple adjustment to get it to fit properly. Be warned that its a very heavy barrel in 32, theres a lot more steel left after drilling that small 32 hole.

    Removing Bluing

I did exactly that to my GPR 50 cal. I used Birchwood Caseys bluing remover first. Once I had a clean barrel, I applied vinegar to the barrel, wiped on birchwood caseys bluing and wipped it off. The rifle looks very nice, gives a weathered aged appearance.

    GPR used

You can get a new one from midsouth for $370 for a percussion and 389 in flint.

    GPR left hand ?

I am a lefty as well. I have installed the V-peep from rmcsports.com on both my GPRs, as well as my Dixie Gun Works hawkin which is a lyman trade rifle.

Looking for a good flintlock conical

I like the Buffalo balletts and the Hornady great plains, virtually the same bullet. I think they are around 240 or 245 gr for the 50 cal. I use them in my 1:60 gpr and tvm as well as my !:48 renegade.
