    Lyman 54 Trade Rifle

I have the DGW Hawken, left handed, flint. It is the same rifle as the trade, made by the same company. It has brass and a double set trigger. It shoots very well with both rb and conicals. I prefer the buffalo ballets 245 gr or the PA conicals, 240 gr.

GM Barrel for Lyman Trade rifle?

Rmcsports.com has the green mountain barrels for the trade rifle. The longest they have is 28" though. I bought one in .32 caliber, left hand model. It is suppose to fit but i had to sand the hook slightly and grind off just a tad of the bar under the barrel.

    FFFg use with conicals

I use fffg exclusively in my muzzleloaders. I like the idea of carrying just one powder for the main charge and the pan prime. I shoot rb, buffalos (245 gr), and PA conicals. I have shot the bigger buffalos but like the lighter ones for some reason. The only thing I use ffg is in the ml new...

drop-in small bore barrel for GPR?

Well Im a leftie too and feel your pain. I have both flint and percussion in GPR L/H. I dont think you can get a barrel for the GPR, L/H, in 32 or 36. I own the Lyman trade rifle and you can get a left handed 32 for it, which I have. Great tree rat fun.

    Powder for a .50 caliber

I use 3F in all my rifles, also use 3F as well for the primer. Roundball, you mentioned 2F in the 12 gauge. I just acquired a new englander 12 gauge and was going to use 3F in it as well. Is there a problem using 3F in the shotgun?

I use both the Buffalo Ball-etts and the PA Conical by Hornady in my 1:60 GPR and they shoot great. You can go to Hornadys web site and check out the PA conical, you can order them there as well.
