You could use 10 grains or so of BP as an ignition charge. Clutch

    Flashpoint

I think flashpoint is related to vapors eminating from liquids. Not sure flashpoint is the proper term. Maybe ignition temperature would be it. Check this link: http://www.musketeer.ch/blackpowder/recipe.html Clutch

    Stock duplication

You might want to google using stock router pantograph build as terms. If you have a few rifles you want to do and like building things it might be a plan. Clutch

Where do you get tow (flax fiber) and a tow worm?

I keep reading on this tow fiber and think it might be good stuff for cleaning a rifle with deep rifling. I tried looking over Track of the Wolf, DGW, and such and while DGW has tow, they do not seem to have the worm. So links to possible suppliers would be very welcome. thanks, Clutch

    barrel channel

Here is another way. My uncle (eph289) used two different router bits, a straight and one with a 45 degree profile along with a router guide the stock was clamped into. Clutch

    Reaming to 50

I'm thinking that you will want to grind a pilot on the drill bit to center on the rifling. Clutch

Is there a resource where one could get the dimensions of a rock lock if one had the desire to build one from scratch. It is the beginning of winter and I think uncle needs a project to keep him from going stir crazy. I have a feeling this could keep him busy for hours, days, weeks. Uncle has...

Almost finished with the first project... (and on the Tower Pistol in general)

You got pictures? As far as leaving it in the white, I have a rifle that I am going to leave white instead of the plumb brown thing. I figure if it gets brown over time then it got it honest and it will look good the more I shoot it and take it out. I'm not a big fan of artifical aging of...

    Co2 Discharger Warning

Check your game laws. In Michigan, a muzzleloader with the cap removed or the prime charge removed from the pan is considered unloaded for transport purposes. I did a quick google search on Idaho and wasn't able to figure out if you have similar rules. Clutch
