    hair dryer for my muzzleloader

I use a hair dryer all the time to dry my cap and ball pistols, don't know why it wouldn't work with a rifle

    ramrod length

All of my rods extend beyond the muzzle, some by 2" or more. I like the extra length in the field, gives me a little more to grab when loading, swabbing etc.

    New/Old Bags

Longhunter, I concur, I don't like "new" stuff either. I recently bought a sword bayonet fer my Enfield, nice and shiney, I took a rust solution to it and now it looks good.My girlfriend couldn't believe I "ruined that beautiful sword" Like the ole sayin' goes. If I have to explain, you...

    OH MY...NOT HANDGUNS TOO!!!!!

All in all I like my LeMat, it tookme a while to get used to the grip angle, and the overall massivness of the piece, but it balances well and is plenty accurate. It tends to bind up or foul quicker than my colt, spiller and burr etc. The rammer is a bit on the delicate side for such a big...

    Traditions 1860 Army (Pietta)

Sounds to me as though the caps were not completly seated on the nipples, it has happened to me and that's usually the culprit

    Cabela's bp revolvers

Cabelas pistols are made by Pietta, I've bought a couple in the past ,not bad for the money. My most recent aquisition was an 1858 Remington police .36 cal 6.5" barrel, steel framed. I don't much care fer the way it fits my hand.IMHO the 51 colts are the way to go

Does any one know if the stuff mentioned above will remove case coloring, be it the real deal or chemically applied . I have a couple of cap locks I'd like to remove the case colors on. But would like some input first, the only warning on the bottle is not to use it on springs. Thanx to all fer...
