    Yeah, bout the same here. I’ve got a small bottle of #9 plus that came with a blackpowder cleaning kit I bought from Dixie Gun Works back in 79. Never really used it though. Been using hoppes oil for long time.

    I used about 7 oz of acetone and put a tube of duco in the jar and mixed it up. I use an eye dropper to seal the caps.

    I don't tamp it. When I add 3/4 drops of acetone glue brew it levels it out for the most part and appears to shrink it somewhat. I use an eyedropper for the acetone glue brew. It works for me.

    I made a scoop out of a large baking toothpick, a little piece of card stock paper and a piece of 1/8” shrink tube 1.5mm long. Glued it all together and it works fine. I’ve loaded 200’ish #11 caps. I don’t use the little white bag of stuff. I seal mine with acetone and duco cement glue mix...

    The Duco/Acetone mixture is the ticket! My scooper is made from a large baking toothpick, a little piece of card stock and a piece of 1/8” heat shrink 1.5 mm long. I use 2 drops of the acetone/glue mixture and leave’em sit for about 24 hrs. I left out the dextrose or whatever it is. I’ll not buy...

    Bend the hammer or set back the barrel ?

    I’ve the same rifle. I found the one screw that attaches the lock that is behind the hammer was pushing the hammer outward when tightened. I shortened the screw and now the hammer aligns properly.

    Yep, i also worked masonry back several years ago. Hard work and at quitting time i was tired and ready for supper. But what i liked about the work was at the end of the day you could stand back and see what you had accomplished and not have to wonder if you had done your job and made a difference.

    I’ve 700 cci on hand and 4/500 punched out awaiting to be loaded and sealed. Only place local with 11’s is Dunhams at $11.99 a tin. Sportsman Warehouse has 10’s, no 11’s for over a year.
