    Be advised....

My walmart had 1000 #11 caps and 6,000 209 primers. Shows where the market is heading.

To each his own , but keep in mind you'll have shipping( $13), hazmat($23), and some place an adult signature fee($4.50) on top of the price being close to double ($12 per 100 CCI ) . Gas is $3.50 a gallon and caps are $5.62 per 100 .

    Walmart caps

The employees at both walmarts I go to told me. Said they are a seasonal item that is a one time ship and does not get restocked. This may not be true for all stores but this seems to be true at my local stores,

    Traditions lock reliability improvements?

WOW ! I got my kit from them a in early 2022 and it was $399 , which at the time I thought was on the high side from few year earlier. The dollar be weak boys.

    Walmart caps

Yep, each store gets one box of ten tins each year and that's it, no restock. You'd think they see the quick sell out and demand and stock more but they don't.

.32 caliber frustrations with not grouping.

Are you sure ? Most factory Traditions liners are around 1/16" both of my Traditions flinters and three Traditions made replacement liners are drilled to .067" measured with precision ground tool steel gage pins from a machine shop. The flash hole in most cap gun nipples is around .025" to .028"...

I agree, I shot mine better from an "offhand" position than from the bench with bags.

.32 caliber frustrations with not grouping.

This is true. I dry balled my 50 cal and pushed between 5 and 10 grains thru the touch hole and it fired the ball out and landed about 50 yards away. This was out of a 34" barrel.

Bow and arrow verses Flint Guns

Short answer; attrition . Weapons of the time had very little to do with it. One of the main factors not often discussed is that many of the tribes had been fighting and killing each other for decades before the Europeans ever arrived. This lack of unity among the tribes was likely the biggest...

    Walmart caps

This is how to play if you need them. Should be close now if they got powder. None of the muzzleloader stuff was priced yet so they must have just got it in at my store. I just got lucky and got them on the first trip.

    Walmart caps

Checked the local Walmart after work this morning and they had their "once-a-year" box of 1000 caps (10 tins of 100). It was behind glass with the ammo with no price tag. I asked the kid for four packs (left 6 behind), and they rang up for the same $5.62 a tin; the same as the last several...
