If you really want a "thrill up your leg", take a look at Gunbroker prices!
Will do Jim. I checked this morning when I was getting my licence. Nothing yet.I found them in August last year at Walmart. I had checked the week before, nothing. Next week they had them. Let us know when you see them. It’s kind of a haul for me to get there.
Does your Walmart still have #10 & #11 caps on their shelf ? If the answer is yes please PM me at 610-955-5649Checked the local Walmart after work this morning and they had their "once-a-year" box of 1000 caps (10 tins of 100). It was behind glass with the ammo with no price tag. I asked the kid for four packs (left 6 behind), and they rang up for the same $5.62 a tin; the same as the last several years. The kid said they had 209 primers down the aisle and that those were what most people were looking for. Odd the caps were locked up but not the 209's. With other retailers (Bass Pro, Dunhams, etc) selling the same caps for $13 a tin, I wonder how much longer walmarts price will stay at under $6 ?
I hate walmart as much as the next guy, but this is the game to play if you want to score some caps. Happy hunting and good luck !
I was at my chinamart at 6:30 am.
Hello,The local Walmart in Lexington Kentucky has percussion caps. Earlier than I expected, but I’ve been checking and they are now in stock at $5.66 per tinView attachment 329724
I dunno. Was out of town all week and haven’t been back.Hello,
Does your Walmart still have #10 & #11 caps still on the shelf
Yep, each store gets one box of ten tins each year and that's it, no restock. You'd think they see the quick sell out and demand and stock more but they don't.Just in at my local Wally World in SW Ohio and under $6 each! Here's the SKU so you can call your store to see if they have any. She brought out 10 or 12 and I bought 4. Strike while the iron is hot, good luck.View attachment 330916
The employees at both walmarts I go to told me. Said they are a seasonal item that is a one time ship and does not get restocked. This may not be true for all stores but this seems to be true at my local stores,That's just crazy on their part. How did you learn this? Are or were you a Wally World employee? I wonder if individual stores in the chain can restock or get transfers from a neighboring store.
I think you are correct, last year as we were moving i caught 3 different chinamart stores. I picked up 2,100 cci #11 caps. On my return trip i stopped & asked & was told no more were available to them. The employees at both walmarts I go to told me. There used to be 2 really good Sporting Goods stores in NJ, just down from each other off 206. I did hear they closed. Used to like going to them when I lived there.Consider yourselves all lucky. I live in NJ, and no Walmarts or Dicks carry anything gun related whatsoever. Maybe some camp clothing, but that’s it. I have to drive into PA to even sniff ammo at Walmart.
I checked yesterday and the six packs I didn't buy three days before are gone. I'll keep watching to see if my local Wally World restocks them, but it's doubtful.Just in at my local Wally World in SW Ohio and under $6 each! I looked into having them shipped from a distribution center to my store. After many emails, I was told no. Asked my local Walmart to check availability. If they don’t show in the territorial distribution center, they cannot be ordered. That's just crazy on their part. How did you learn this? Are or were you a Wally World employee?
