    I have is various threads over the years. I don’t want to be a bragger, but I do like to share with the forum what I think is beautiful! I am presently working on a kibler fowler and when I am done, I will take some pics of my Wheland guns.

    Put on fourth coat of Kibler’s stock finish on my 20g Fowler. It looks like I am half way there. Starting to work on the brass.

    What do you guys lube your C&B revolvers with?

    I stopped using lube in all my bp revolvers. I get a good seal with .457 rbs in my 44’s and .375’s in the 36’s. When I did use lube over the rb, it was bear oil mixed with beeswax, the same lube I use for my patched rbs in my long guns.

    What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

    Worked on my Kibler 20g Fowler, got the first coat of oil finish. Shot my newer Uberti 2nd model Dragoon after fixing the dropping loading lever problem. Worked out great with a 50gr charge of 3f goex. Wife made a killer pot of Italian soup with home made bread. A good day.

    Was Dutch right about wiping between shots?

    I am right handed and I always tilt the gun to the right just before firing, to move the powder away from the touch hole causing a clear path for the flame.

    Recommended revolver parts to upgrade or have as spares?

    Today I replaced a worn hand assembly for my Uberti 1860 army. I purchased it in 2005. I keep some extra trigger/bolt flat springs on hand. A spare bolt assembly wouldn’t be a bad idea.

    I am currently working on my Kibler 20g Fowler. I have a 28g smooth rifle and a 10g New England Fowler. I am by no means an expert on anything, but I have several boxes of hornady .570 rbs that I will be using in the 20g with the appropriate patching material. I just shoot paper and clangers...

    KIBLER WOODRUNNER TALL SITE

    Today, after I voted for DONALD J. TRUMP, I shot 9 rbs from my 45cal woods runner with 50 grains of 3f goex at 50 yards. My rifle is shooting to point of aim. I guess I got lucky.

    My 45cal woods runner is one of my 7 long gun ml’s in my shooting rotation. I don’t recall it shooting low at 50yds. I guess I will have to shoot it tomorrow after I vote for DONALD J. TRUMP!!!

    About your hunting rifles

    Both of these rifles are sweet! I am not a cap gun guy, but that Hawken pattern is really eye catching. I am going to own one someday. That flinter is beautiful in it’s simplicity. I like the barrel keys.
