    There’s gonna be no absolute on this. Some may some may not depending on tooling wear and other things. I bet one never shot worse after a couple hundred rounds. Unless you let it rust up.

    Try it and form your own opinion. I poke after each shot and before I prime and that seems to work well for me as I rarely have a problem.

    That’s why there were so many replacement barrels made for them. I don’t blame the 1-48 twist as much as the depth of the grooves and wide lands. I don’t have much patience for a picky barrel. They are good deer guns with the LEE Real bullet.
