    CVA model

    That was probably a Markwell Arms gun. I have one of their pistols. The stock was very nice. The trigger and the lock were wretched pieces (I replaced the trigger with a CVA modified to work), and the barrel was OK. Not great, but OK.

    Make an 'Ivory' stock?

    Maybe you could build the stock undersized in wood and cover it with some of the simulated ivory. The Tagua nut could be used - cut slices and glue it on. If done well, you could hide the seams and it would look like an ivory stock.

    All of the Charles Daly muzzleloaders that I have seen are actually rebranded Investarm rifles. That company makes the Lyman rifles.
