My Blue Ridge flinter has a blues barrel and my Frontier has a brown barrel. Could this be a Pedersoli Frontier rather than the Blue Ridge? Greg

500 Yards, Stock 1:48 Twist TC Renegade .50 Cal

Yes, the only bad TC I owned had the QLA barrel as well. I could not get rid of that rifle fast enough. I can’t honestly remember what I did with it. Sure I traded it off for something. The TC Hawken has long been a favorite of mine when I need to count on accuracy. Greg

500 Yards, Stock 1:48 Twist TC Renegade .50 Cal

I don’t know how many TC blackpowder sidelock guns were produced over the years........guessing hundreds of thousands. Curious to know how you are certain that most of those hundreds of thousands rifled barrels were of such poor quality? Personally I have only had one that wasn’t worth a darn...

LYMAN GPR Users Unite and tell us your story

A couple of years ago I bought several muzzleloaders at a gun auction. One was a Lyman GPR .54 percussion. I have only shot a few shots out of it and no where close yet to finding it’s sweet spot. Now recently, my best friend passed away and he had about 5 years ago bought a new .54 GPR at...
