Then buy it, and I can sleep easy tonight, not worrying that I should have bought it!Me likes, me likes it a lot!
This rifle is just a step above the custom "poor boy rifle" I have now which is all iron furniture. The only thing I don't like about this rifle is that it doesn't have a nose cap, that I may add to it. Not sure of the date of manufacture of the rifle but I have .54 Hatfield half stock from the mid 80s that is a exceptional shooter.I've been researching Lehigh Valley rifles, and was studying this one to see if it met the criteria.
It looks very similar to a Lehigh Barn Rifle on the von Aschwege web site, but I was trying to research it more.
Guess I snoozed, and I loosed.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I would have.

I've read on this forum that the older Hatfield's were good, but later on, things changed. I hope you have success with this one.I have .54 Hatfield half stock from the mid 80s that is a exceptional shooter.
