Old Hawkeye, I respect your opinion sir. Respectfully, I will say this. One thing for certain is, as you well know, we all have an opinion 👍👍

    What Is The Fix?

With shooting, Over time, it can cause the frame itself to stretch thus increasing cylinder gap at the forcing cone/barrel which is obviously not desirable. Uberti knows this but will not address it as a problem in the manufacturing process. Why? Who knows. Uberti for instance, in their...

WITHDRAWN 44 revolver for muzzleloader related

Crazybear, it having a brass frame it will usually go for less than a steel frame. I’ve purchased a steel framed Dragoon CVA, Armi San Marco on GunBroker for less than $400 if that helps? Generally speaking, the brass frame would most likely go for at least $75 less. You never know though...

    What Is The Fix?

NY Yankee. I am no expert but I do know Uberti arbors are short. 45D, on TMF, Mike of GoonsGunworks is a bonafide expert with these. He is also very helpful with explaining the issue and offering advice. I have a couple of Walkers and Dragoons myself that suffer from short arbor syndrome. If you...

    Information please on .44 revolver

Looks like an 1860 Army. Could be an Armi San Marco. I have a CVA Dragoon and it is an ASM. Just my 2 cents.

Whats the group opinion on Traditions Revolvers?

Reel Creel...I just use a wonder wad (comes lightly greased) over powder. There are many methods people prefer. Obviously the chamber should be dry when loading powder then shove the wad in, then the ball. Good to go. :thumb: just my 2 cents.

coinneach..howdy down yonner!! Good to hear from ya. Yes, I admit you have brought up a good point with this gentleman in the photo.
